Quick tip

Buying brush cleaners can be so expensive and most of them aren't great quality. In college they gave us a brush cleaner for rust which absolutely stinks and removes the paint from the brush handles. The mac brush cleanser is pretty good, although it is expensive and can run out pretty quick.

I think the best thing for brushes is washing them with baby shampoo. I really like Johnson's baby shampoo with either camomile or lavender. It keeps brushes super clean and so soft and they smell delish. The only down side is that the brushes have to dry for quite a while, this is where the mac brush cleanser comes in handy for those quick fixes.

Love,
Susan.
