The Fab Four!

Hey Ladies,

We all have those lipsticks that are 'to die for' favourite shades and today I want to share my precious reds with you. In a line up of lipsticks a red shade will always be my first choice, you really cant beat a good classic red.

Let's get into it....

MAC Ruby Woo
Ruby Woo is one of the most popular shade from MAC and for the lovers of red this one will always be found in amongst their collection. With a matte finish this lipstick is quite drying on the lips but it will last for such a long time and give you the perfect 1950's pout. Perfect for anyone who wants a blue tone red to match pale skin, if you are more tanned and want a warm tone give Russian Red a try.

Lime Crime Velvetine in  Red Velvet
This is one of the latest addition to my red lip collection a truly unique product from Lime Crime. The Velvetine range is a long wearing, kiss proof range of lip stains that once on the lips they transform from a gloss to a matte velvet finish. Long wearing and fantastic colour pay off this product ticks all the boxes for me. Perfect for when you need something quick on the go or to last all day long!

Rimmel 107 from the Kate Moss Collection
When this lipstick first arrived on the scene it came with a huge bang, bloggers and YouTubers scrambled to get this gorgeous burgundy red shade and ever since it has been a regular. It is super long lasting (it seriously will not budge) and is so pigmented that one swipe across the lips and your good to go. The smell of this lipstick is also a huge plus for me and not to mention the price at around €6 it is the cheapest of the bunch.

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Shine in 04 Rouge in Danger
As all of the other lip products are quite drying I also wanted to include my favourite moisturising red lipstick. At the pricer end of the scale the YSL lipsticks are a huge splurge but for the quality you get the money is well worth it. This lipstick leaves the lips with a glossy opaque red shade that isn't too bright or too dull. Perfect for everyday and by throwing a lip liner underneath it can also be transformed to a vampy red for a night on the town.
