To give you more of an idea of the face shapes I'll use celebrities as my victims.
Oval Face- length of face is equal as in length of face is equal to one and a half times of the width. Examples: Eva Mendes or Jessica Alba
Round Face- Length and width are almost equal. Examples: Kelly Clarkson or Christine Ricci
Square Face- The jawline and the temples/forehead is wider than the cheeks. Examples: Audrey Hepburn or Paris Hilton
Oblong Face- The face is usually longer in length than wide. Examples: Sarah Jessica Parker or Angelina Jolie
Heart Face- The face is wider at the forehead and cheekbones, and thinner at the jawline with a slightly pointy chin. Examples: Naomi Campbell or Reese Witherspoon
Triangular Face- The face is narrow at the fore head but wider at the jaw. Examples: Victoria Beckham or Jennifer Aniston
Diamond Face- The face is narrow at the forehead and jawline but with high cheekbones and a slightly pointed chin. Examples: Scarlet Johansson or Linda Evangelista
I think it is very hard to tell face shapes, a good way to discover your face shape is to stand in front of a mirror, cover one eye, and without any hair in the way, take an eyeliner or something similar that can be removed easily and draw the shape of your face. Then using a picture with the face shapes on it such as this one decide which one you are.
Stay posted as coming soon there will be tips on how to contour each of the face shapes.
